Details
The term cocooning is well known. Faith Popcorn, the forefather of trend research, discovered and named this trend in the 1980s. Cocooning describes retreating into your own four walls. Rest and relax, pizza service: If the outside world has become too complicated, too stressful or too virulent for you, you can withdraw into your little world - into your cocoon. Corona reanimates cocooning. If you have to forego the luxury of a long-haul trip, you can choose the luxury of a swimming pool in your own garden instead. A size smaller would be a new couch or a comfortable bathtub. After all, the bathroom next to the bed is the most important recreational area in your own four walls. What the new old trend means for architecture.
